Defend Our Democracy is a citizen-led, fully bootstrapped platform dedicated to strengthening civic participation, public education, and collaboration. With the purpose of uniting the people by reminding them that democracy only works when we defend it together.
Defend Our Democracy exists to coordinate, clarify, and strengthen efforts to protect democratic systems in the United States.
This is a platform to bring individuals and organizations onto the same front: sharing credible information, historical context, and coordinated strategies—so that We the People can defend democracy through education, collective action, and accountability.
Our mission is not partisan. It is pro-democracy.
Human Impact Matters
Democratic erosion is not abstract. It affects wages, healthcare access, housing stability, civil rights, and community trust.
Nonpartisan, Pro‑Democracy Alignment
We do not endorse political parties or candidates. We align around democratic norms, constitutional accountability, and equal participation.
Transparency Over Secrecy
Power functions best when visible. We support disclosure, public records access, investigative journalism, and civic education.
Coordination, Not Control
Defend Our Democracy does not replace or direct member organizations. Each group retains its independence, mission, and leadership.
Evidence‑Based Public Education
Our work is grounded in documented history, law, economic data, and primary sources. Claims must be verifiable.
Democracy Belongs to the People
Democratic institutions exist to serve the public, not concentrated political or economic power.
A shared platform to spread democracy through education and engagement.
An educator on legal, economic, and civic research to ensure public understand.
A space that provides verified historical and contemporary evidence.
A collaboration space with the goal to connect the people with the organizations and education.
Not a political party or campaign organization
Not a PAC or fundraising vehicle for member groups
Not a governing body over participating organizations, only a platform for connection and collaboration.
Not a replacement for existing advocacy, legal, or organizing work
Defend Our Democracy supports alignment across five core areas:

Voting access, fair representation, election security, and rule of law.

Our goal is not to persuade through fear or partisanship, but to inform through clarity.
A healthy democracy requires citizens who understand:
How systems evolved
Where accountability weakened
What tools still exist for civic repair
Defend Our Democracy exists to make that understanding accessible.
